A JOYFUL CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY!!!

it wasn't a merry christmas and a happy new year for everybody. first off, it's because of the tragedies that has strucked many Filipinos in Southern Luzon, due to the landslides caused by the typhoons. many people had died and properties have been devastated. second, da king has died and it became a big fuss for a week or so. then right after christmas tsunamis had hit several south Asian countries and it claimed thousands of lives. i was able to realize how powerful God is, in just one instance he could take everything away. everything that had happened has a purpose that we are yet to find out. let's keep on praying.

my christmas is not as happy as before. it seemed that it just came in like any other day. it was my first christmas that our christmas tree did not have gifts as many as before, but rather, just a small star-shaped light and gifts that are to be given to selected friends. we did not even shopped for christmas that much, we did not have that much gifts to wrap, as well as that much gifts to open. the elders' (my dad's aunts, parents and siblings) aguinaldos depreciated, from last year's P100 from this year's P50, though there were more bonding with my father-side cousins (we watched so happy together--it was so lame that i wish i watched mano po 3-- and pajama partied until 6am)

during new year's eve, we prepared for media noche. we had roast chicken, fruit jello, two pastas, a seafood linguine and corned beef carbonara. it was also the first new year that we did not get our noses black and dusty (no one in our street lighted fireworks), slept at one am and woke up early the next day.

overall, it was a tiring, boring break for me. i wish i was in school.

hoping for the next holiday to be more happier.
