BEING TRISEM
a message from a grade school batchmate struck me as i open her bulletin board message, as i thought she was a college friend (she changed her name similar to my friend) she misses being in school, misses being with friends, etc etc.
the fact that i am in a school with a trimestral calendar, it really is devastating to bring yourself into a halt right after all those hullabaloo. things get you cramped up just before you rest and enjoy yourself of the leisure without academic pressure. in a school with a trimestral calendar, a student should not rest or think about senseless things so that s/he could keep up with the fast pace.
and with this, i am congratulating my friends from up, ateneo, ust, mc, ua&p... er, what else, ispuk... you are now celebrating the glory of your first semestral break, being freshmen of your respective august universities. this will be your first time to have a one-month break from all blood, sweat and tears exerted during the previous semester.
congratulations, dear friends, you deserve the rest, while i remain working my guts out reading n pages or photocopied materials from n subjects.
december will be my next sabbath day, after september.
